Topics for the first three episodes of the 10-episode run include fires in the Amazon, hip-hop culture in Russia and the Middle East’s geopolitical landscape.
The first three episodes will stream during November, with a new episode dropping once a month following the launch.
Future shows will cover K-Pop stars and intersex and transgender athletes.
“Vice Investigates” joins other Vice News series, including “Vice News Tonight,” which won five Emmys for news and documentary earlier this year. “Vice News Tonight” joined the evening lineup at Viceland following its cancellation by HBO earlier this year.

In all, “Vice News Tonight” has been nominated for 33 Emmys and taken home 10.
Also set to return to TV in spring of 2020 for 13 episodes is the brand’s weekly newsmagazine “Vice.” Vice News will produce the series for Showtime.
Earlier this year, Viceland and Vice News merged under a new structure at Vice Media which triggered an expansion of the news division.
