'Thrillist' To Launch 100 Course Meal Event in L.A.

Thrillist has teamed with chef Michael Cirino to present the inaugural 100 Course Meal in Downtown L.A. this December, bringing together farmers, chefs, bartenders and coffee roasters from across the city.

Virgin Voyages is Thrillist’s exclusive cruise partner for the event.

The 100 Course Meal, created by Cirino, brings together L.A.’s top culinary and beverage names, such as Dune, Homestate, Jewel and Phorage, for an immersive evening. Attendees are capped at 100 per session.

During each session, 10 dishes are delivered to the table accompanied by tableside preparations.

After the seated session, attendees can explore the culinary lab, which features demos like a drone bartender stirring cocktails and popcorn ice cream made with liquid nitrogen.

The event’s culinary talent will also lead demos ranging from knife skills to tortilla making.

The 100 Course Meal was created as way to explore a city’s diverse culinary landscape, as guests sample new dishes and explore the event’s space.

Previously, Cirino hosted events like a high-concept, multi-course lunch served on the New York City subway and a birthday party for  the 125th anniversary of pizza, which saw pizza delivered from every pizzeria in New York City.

Tickets to the event are $100.
