ZoomInfo Acquires Komiko, B2B CRM Startup

ZoomInfo, provider of an AI-driven B2B data platform, has acquired Komiko, a start-up specializing in CRM automation. Terms were not disclosed.

ZoomInfo plans to integrate Komiko’s technology into its ZoomInfo Powered by DiscoverOrg platform to provide firms with predictive analytics and other tools designed facilitate selling.

Clients using the firm’s new ZoomInfo InboxAI can capture contact and activity data buried in sales reps’ email inboxes and calendars, the company says. The data is populated within the CRM system and will trigger alerts and generate analytics needed for supporting renewal and running new business pipelines, it says.

The goal is to help firms manage data as “a pipeline, and revenue generation,” said Henry Schuck, founder and CEO of ZoomInfo.

Komiko, founded by former Microsoft executives Hal Howard and Ami Heitner, uses machine learning and data science to automate the CRM process, the firm says.
