Email marketers should take note that Edison Mail’s mailbox management app for iOS and Android is being extended to Mac computers.

Edison for Mac is available to current Edison Mail users, many of whom have requested a version of the app for desktop, the company says. Others consumers can also it.

The app allows consumers to unsubscribe with one click, block unwanted emails from advertisers and prevent firms from tracking any email they open, Edison Mail claims.

The app can be used with Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Outlook, iCloud, and other mail providers and comes with Keyboard Shortcuts and additional features. 

Edison Mail says the app is designed to help consumers overcome common frustrations. 

“Frequent complaints range from current apps being too slow at fetching important emails to poor design getting in the way of productivity,” states Mikael Berner, CEO at Edison.

The company has also debuted a new version of its app for iOS and Android. It includes Assistant, a feature for previewing upcoming meetings, travel, bills, missed calendar invitations and forgotten subscriptions in one place.
