Tombras Wins U.S. RE/MAX Media Assignment

Knoxville-based ad agency Tombras has been named U.S. media agency of record for realty giant RE/MAX after a formal review.

The company, based in Denver, spent nearly $40 million on measured media in 2018, according to Kantar, which estimates the firm spent an additional $32.2 million from January through September of 2019.

The appointment is effective immediately. The business was previously handled by Carat, part of Dentsu Aegis Network.

RE/MAX will continue work with San Francisco-based advertising agency Camp + King for the firm’s 2020 advertising campaign which will roll out this month.

Abby Lee, RE/MAX senior vice president, marketing and communications, said the company was impressed with Tombras’ data management capabilities. She added that the agency “brings a high-quality portfolio to the table with a proven understanding of the franchising space and their commitment to investing in talent and technology is evident through their work with other leading franchising brands.”

The client retained consultants Zach Rosenberg and Nancy Hill to jointly manage the review process.
