Mediabrands Bolsters Global Leadership Team

IPG Mediabrands has added two global presidents to the company’s executive leadership team. Both report to global CEO Daryl Lee.

Caroline Foster Kenny has been promoted to global president, client solutions, a new role that she will add to her existing duties as executive chairman and CEO Mediabrands UK & Ireland. And Andrea Suarez has been appointed global president, Nestlé Thrive, the company’s dedicated unit serving the CPG giant. Suarez led Mediabrands’ recent pitch when Nestlé consolidated its Latin American regional business.

In the new position, Foster Kenny is tasked with leading the strategic development of integrated solutions for clients, built around new models of data. She will work in collaboration with client leaders across the network and across IPG Open Architecture solutions, and Acxiom.

In addition to overseeing Thrive, Suarez will remain a senior advisor to the Mediabrands Latin American leadership team. She is being succeeded as Latam CEO by Sergio Kessissian.

The company also confirmed that Christian Johansen is being promoted to CEO for the EMEA region. Previously he was global managing partner at UM.
