McCann Worldgroup Taps IPG Mediabrands' Berwitz To Help With Communications

McCann Worldgroup has tapped sister Interpublic unit IPG Mediabrands' communications chief Scott Berwitz as senior vice president-global director of marketing communications.

He previously served as senior vice president-corporate communication at IPG Mediabrands, where he led global internal and external public relations.

Prior to joining Mediabrands two years ago, Berwitz was vice president of independent PR firm DiGennaro Communications, overseeing PR for ad agencies, ad tech and social media platforms.

Prior to that, he held senior PR roles at WPP's Mindshare and independent media services agency Horizon Media.
