Is The Future of Media Business Female?

Women now make up 49% of the total workforce in media and entertainment, but the majority of these people can still be found in entry-level positions. That’s according to new research from McKinsey & Co., which found: “Women in this industry experience a more hostile workplace than men and face a glass ceiling that prevents them from reaching top leadership roles.”
