Google Shows Off Android 11

Showing consumers and developers what to expect from its next mobile operating system, Google just debuted the Android 11 developer preview. As 9To5Google reports, one big change is 5G, which Google is positioning as a way for developers to “extend [their] Wi-Fi app experiences to mobile users.” Separately, “Android 11 is expanding Project Mainline -- visible to users as Google Play System Update -- with 12 new modules that can be updated without OS releases.”
