America Online on Wednesday announced several new features that have been added to its search engine, which is powered by Google. Users can now save searches as well as "clip" those search results
they would like to record. Also, in an effort to help users find all information relevant to their search, regardless of whether that information is text, audio or video, AOL now blends all relevant
search results together on one page. There is also a "Quick Answers" feature to complement AOL's existing "Snapshots" feature. "Quick Answers" is designed to return instant answers to questions
entered in one's search box, drawing on sources ranging from the Merriam-Webster dictionary to Wikipedia, to the U.S. Census.
