OKRP Goes 'All In' With Stay Home Campaign

OKRP is rounding up notable celebrities with ties to Illinois to encourage state residents to stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Famous personalities, including actress Jane Lynch, “Chicago PD” actor Jason Beghe and comedian Matt Walsh, among others, have individually filmed selfie-video PSAs to reinforce the importance of staying away from others during the crisis. These clips reveal they really are just like us, stuck at home, bored, and unable to benefit from professional hair and makeup teams.

Their recommendations form one part of the larger integrated communications platform designed by the agency on behalf of Governor J.B. Pritzker and government officials.

The effort is anchored by a logo  -- a heart or home or cross, with the word "all" placed above Illinois with the "in" Illinois highlighted. The call-to-action is designed to serve as a clever play on words -- All In Illinois -- under the mandate that everyone work to protect their fellow neighbors.

“We don’t just need to stay home now, we need to stay in for potentially weeks to come,” explains Laura Fegley, Chief Creative Officer at OKRP. “It’s both an idea around community and what you can do as an individual.”
