Wi-Fi Calling Up 78%, Voice Calls 29%

At-home consumers continue to drive up mobile usage, with wireless voice minutes increasing 22% yesterday compared to an average Tuesday, according to the latest network tracking stats from AT&T.

Wi-Fi calling during the COVID-19 pandemic continued on a tear, increasing 78% compared to an average Tuesday.

Consumers also are spending more time talking on the phone.

Home voice calling minutes increased 29% compared to an average Tuesday.

Core network traffic, including home broadband, wireless usage and business, increased 26%, according to AT&T.

On Monday, Wi-Fi calling minutes increase 88% form an average Monday.
