Aloysius Butler & Clark Helps Hospitals Say Thanks To Their Workers

Ad agency Aloysius Butler & Clark (AB&C), with offices in Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia and Bloomsburg, PA, is thanking healthcare workers for all they are doing during the pandemic with a series of print ads and posters that can be customized for display in hospitals across the country.

The agency says it will do the customizing for any hospitals that want to display the signage free of charge.

The shop will personalize the ads with logos and color palettes specific to each hospital and can resize posters, as well.

One of the ads states: “When there aren’t enough words, two will have to do. Thank you.” Below the copy is an image of an exhausted healthcare worker catching 40 winks between shifts.

It may not seem like a lot, in comparison to what these folks are giving every day, but thank-yous are meaningful.

In New York (and probably other cities), people collectively offer a big thank you each evening at 7 p.m. with lots of cheering, clapping, pot banging, even horn honking. In my neighborhood, a church provides a heads-up a couple of minutes before by chiming the Marines’ Hymn.

And the gratitude resonates. The New York Times recently quoted one healthcare worker stating that he avoids leaving his job at 7 p.m. because he becomes so overwhelmed with emotion at the outpouring of appreciation outside.

Sample some of the AB&C ads here.
