Microsoft Says AI-Sniffing Security Bugs Nearly Perfect

Microsoft says its AI can distinguish between security and non-security bug with 99% accuracy, Venture Beat reports. “The work suggests that such a system … could be used to support human experts,” it writes. “In the course of architecting the model, Microsoft says that security experts approved the training data and that statistical sampling was used to provide those experts a manageable amount of data to review.”
