Amid a significant decline in crowdfunding projects, Kickstarter is closely eying layoffs, The Verge reports, citing an internal company memo. “Projects are down by about 35 percent,” it
reports. “Conversations are now starting with Kickstarter’s union organizers about ‘potential layoffs.’” According to The Verge, about 60% of Kickstarter’s 140
employees are unit members.
