Tribune Media Net Launches Marketing Campaign For New Print Ad Formats

Editor & Publisher reports that Tribune Media Net, ad sales unit of media giant Tribune Company, is touting its ability to run new print ad formats, including watermarked logos and cascading stairs, in a new marketing campaign. The launch of these new formats coincides with enhanced color printing capacity at several Tribune papers. "We wanted to provide a unique set of ad types that are new and fresh--treatments that have never been seen before in newspapers," said Dana Hayes, Tribune Media Net senior vice president/sales and marketing, in a statement. The ads are scheduled to run in trade publications in Q4.
