Edison Mail is now offering its app through the Mac App store, the company announced this week. 

The firm says that its own designers -- who worked on Macs -- were hobbled by small issues, like having to log in and out of to see messages from multiple accounts. The result was the new offering.

The app -- available or Yahoo, Gmail and Outlook accounts -- provides a universal inbox, the company says. It keeps emails rom multiple accounts in a single location, it adds.

The app also allows users to keep unwanted messages out of their inboxes, allows dark mode to relieve eye strain, and has a minimalist design, Edison Mail says.
