Apollo Group Top Online Advertiser In September

To promote its Web properties such as the University of Phoenix Online, The Apollo Group, Inc. spent more money advertising online than any other company in September, Nielsen//NetRatings AdRelevance reported Thursday. Spending about $19.7 million, Apollo managed to display over 4.4 billion impressions. LowerMyBills.com, Inc. came in second, attracting about 3.7 billion impressions after spending $15.6 million in September. In third place was Internet phone company Vonage, which spent $12.5 million and attracted 2.7 billion impressions in September, Nielsen AdRelevance reported.
