The five-part series, which launches with support from presenting sponsor MassMutual, spotlights the ongoing fight for women’s rights.
Part one of five kicks off today with a discussion called “The Road to Women’s Suffrage,” led by culture reporter Jennifer Schuessler, who will be in conversation with Valerie Jarret, board chair of When We All Vote and co-chair of The United States of Women; Martha S. Jones, Society of Black Alumni presidential professor and history professor at Johns Hopkins University; National Portrait Gallery historian Kate Clarke Lemay; and Susan Ware, honorary women’s suffrage centennial history at Radcliffe’s Schlesinger Library at Harvard University.

Future events include “Women in the Public Spotlight,” “Queering Women’s Stories: Artist and the Fight for Women’s Rights” and “Women and Voting Today.”
The series’ final event takes place on August 18 with a virtual theatrical production directed by Whitney White.
Additional programming is expected to be added to the lineup.
