Lincoln Project Ridicules Trump's Tulsa Performance In New Ad

The Lincoln Project is out with another anti-Trump ad mocking the turnout and his performance at a Tulsa, Oklahoma rally over the weekend.

Trump and his people had great expectations for the rally, boasting that 1 million Trumpsters had registered for tickets.

In the lead-up to the not-so-big event, there was speculation about how the city of Tulsa would handle the crowds, both for and against Trump. Trump even warned would-be protesters there would be hell to pay if they tried to make a big fuss at his event.

But the whole affair turned out to be a “dud,” as the LP ad, titled “Shrinking,” put it. “You’ve probably heard this before but it was smaller than we expected,” the narrator says, speaking to Trump as the clip zeroes in on his famously small hands.

“We’re not surprised that you’re shaky,” the narrator adds, while images of a, well, shaky Trump grasps a glass of water with two hands, followed by another where he’s assisted by a U.S. marine as he feebly walks down a ramp.

“Trump’s got a size problem,” the LP stated in a release accompanying the ad. “It’s not growing, in fact, it’s shrinking. And the whole world saw. We’re talking about Donald Trump’s crowds, of course. Despite a “record-setting 1 million tickets sold,” the Trump campaign couldn’t fill a 19,000 person stadium in the heart of Trump land. What a letdown.”

Rick Wilson, cofounder of the Lincoln Project, said: “Donald Trump can’t deliver on his wall. He can’t deliver on COVID-19 testing. And now, he can’t even deliver crowds.”

“The only thing Trump is good for is a cheap laugh.”

I’m still holding my breath through Election Day.

Just for the sake of acccuracy, it wasn't "a Marine" he was holding onto as he went down the ramp, it was the Commandant of U.S. Military Academy.
