Ogilvy Taps Deloitte's Andy Main To Succeed Seifert As Global CEO

WPP agency network Ogilvy has appointed Andy Main as Global Chief Executive Officer.  Main, who will join at the end of July most recently served as Global Head of Deloitte Digital and a Principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP.

Main will succeed John Seifert, who announced in April that he was stepping down next year after 41 years with Ogilvy including five as CEO.

Main has led Deloitte Digital since 2014 and rapidly grew the business into a formidable Adland competitor which today offers creative, technology and consulting services to many of the world's leading companies. The expansion included a number of agency acquisitions such as Heat and Pervorm.

He began his career with Andersen Consulting and moved to Deloitte Consulting in 1999 as a Principal in the Hi-Tech Practice.
