'Time For Kids' Launches Newsletter Camp TFK

Time for Kids is helping parents and kids beat summer boredom while stuck at home with a newsletter dubbed Camp TFK.

Full of activities, including arts and crafts, sports and games, performance skills, scientific concepts and storytelling, Camp TFK arrives in inboxes every weekday.

Time for Kids editor in chief Andrea Delbanco stated: “This summer isn’t business as usual for most families. Camp TFK can help parents entertain their kids with content they can trust and feel good about, that requires little to no supervision.”

Camp TFK is curated by Time for Kids editors; it targets kids with a wide range of interests, skill levels and accessibility, with minimal supplies needed for each activity. Parents receive a list of activities and needed supplies ahead of the week’s daily newsletters.

Time for Kids made its issues available to readers outside of the classroom in March for the first time in its 25 years of publishing, citing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Readers gained access to a digital library featuring all editions published in 2020, financial literacy magazine Your $ and additional educational resources and activities. Later, in May, the title offered expanded access to readers and launched new language editions.

The Camp TFK newsletter follows Time’s recent launch of its Time for Healthand Time for Learning initiatives, which focus on improving the lives of readers through expanded content across health, education and finance.
