InQ, a firm that provides voice chat technology to e-commerce and business sites, announced Tuesday the release of cartQ, a voice-chat product that allows e-commerce sites to connect sales reps to
users to prevent "shopping cart abandonment," where e-commerce shoppers exit a site before completing a purchase. The product will allow e-commerce sites to connect live cashiers to consumers via
voice chat when they attempt to leave the checkout page before completing their purchase, either by using a click-to-chat button or by simply opening a chat window with the consumer when they attempt
to exit the page.
