Narrative has pulled in $8.5 million Series A funding, and will use the money to drive growth of its new data streaming platform: Data Streams Marketplace.
The round was led by G20 Ventures. Also participating were existing investors Glasswing Ventures, MathCapital, Revel Partners, Tuhaye Venture Partners, and XSeed Capital.
Data Streaming is a service that allows users to browse and purchase data without legal wrangling and red tape, the company claims.
The objective is to shorten “the data supply chain by going direct — cutting out the broker, and making data liquid and transparent,” states Nick Jordan, founder and CEO of Narrative.
The Data Streams Marketplace is now available for free.
