Magnum Taps Virtual Influencer For New Launch Campaign

Magnum China is featuring Imma, one of the world’s best known virtual personalities, to serve as the voice of a new campaign promoting the launch of its matcha flavored ice cream in China. 

This is the first flavor the brand has created specifically for the Chinese market.

The creative, developed with Fred & Farid Shanghai, builds on the brand’s global “Never Stop Playing” platform that shows attractive people enjoying life pleasures before ending with a shot of Imma. The ad’s song is an upbeat take on Tina Sinatra’s classic “These Boots Are Made for Walking.”

The campaign includes TV spots, social content, and promotional sites with Imma as the main brand ambassador.
