Entertainment marketing veterans Lee Hunt and Lori Pate
are launching CMOmarketplace, a creative services portal developed to help TV networks and movie studio marketing executives find creative and marketing expertise for entertainment content.
Since a soft launch over the summer, more than 100 media companies have registered for the platform, including NBCUniversal and Fox Sports Media Group.
Marketers can examine content from 22 entertainment creative agencies, allowing executives to compare creative projects from agencies. This can include TV program promos, interstitials,
network rebranding efforts, and social media campaigns.
While it's free to register, the CMOmarketplace also offers deeper levels of marketing consultancy for a monthly
subscription.
In the 1990s, Hunt founded the entertainment marketing agency, Lee Hunt Associates, which was sold to Razorfish in 1999. Before this, Hunt held marketing
executive positions at Lifetime, VH1 and TNT.
Pate was an executive producer for the TV branding company 3 Ring Circus. Previously she worked for Starz!/Encore Networks.
Before that she was design consultant for TV stations, networks, and media companies, as well as president of what is now PromaxBDA, the TV industry marketing association.advertisement
