Centro Linkup With Slack Will Help Sales Teams Create Email Series, Firm Says

Shared inbox provider Centro has debuted what it calls Email and SMS steps within Slack’s Workflow Builder. These new steps allow sales teams to create automated customer emails within Slack, ensuring that no messages are lost, the company says. 

Centro is a Salesforce connector and is now aiming to bring Salesforce to the conversational capability of Slack, it says.

The linkup with Slack will allow brands to create email cadences and series, Centro says. For example, Predetermined emails can be sent if a customer fails to respond.

Salespeople using the Slack channel can reply to responses and address customer needs. Slack users are known to spend most of their day with Slack, and “often prefer communications to reside there,” states Ryan Hitchler, CEO and co-founder at Centro. 

Hitchler adds: “We aim to bring all communication to where people are happy and responsive, including external communications to customers.
