Litmus Adds Dark Mode Detection To Its Email Platform

Litmus has added several new features to its email platform in an effort to help brands create more personalized experiences.

The new capabilities will help marketing teams create “the personalized brand experiences their customers are accustomed to while working with the resources and headcount they already have,” states Erik Nierenberg, CEO of Litmus.

According to Litmus, the new tools include:

  • Dark Mode Detection — for helping users gain insights into Dark Mode usage by their email subscribers. This can also be helpful with email design and development.
  • Brand Settings and Advanced User Permissions — This helps brands scale agile email creation across the team and get emails out more quickly.

In addition, Litmus has added elements to its email testing suite, including the latest iOS fleet, to help companies tone up their email design, among other things, the company says.

One Litmus client, VSP, sends an average of 50 email campaigns per month for several sub-brands.

Previously, email campaigns took “hours, if not days,” to create, states Donnel De Leon, digital automation developer at VSP Global

Litmus has reduced that time to a half hour, De Leon adds.

Earlier this year, Litmus integrated its Email Previews application with SAP Marketing Cloud in a move to streamline collaboration across email marketing teams, and it added a visual editor that it claims can reduce email development time.
