StoneShot Offers Email Benchmarking Tool For Financial Services Brands

Software application provider StoneShot has launched a service that it says can help financial services brands answer questions about their marketing. 

The new tool -- Insights beta, available inside the StoneShot App -- provides financial marketers with “benchmarking data enabling them to make business critical decisions," says Gavin John, StoneShot founder and CEO. 

Users can apply such metrics as open, click and read rates and unsubscribes to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns, the company says. 

In addition, benchmark data can be segmented across device types, regions, communication types and time of day, it adds. 

Insights beta helps marketers determine the ideal time of day to send emails and whether open rates are lower during the summer, StoneShot claims. 

In addition, it can enable them to drill down into the regional level to answer such random questions as the average click rate for a marketing commentary in Italy and whether newsletters fare well in APAC, it says.

StoneShot also offers a consulting service to help firms that are not on its app with email marketing strategy and execution.
