Team Rubicon Is Ready For Disaster Relief

Team Rubicon is celebrating Veteran’s Day by launching its new “disaster response” creative to raise awareness about the organization’s mission to pair military veterans with first responders, medical professionals, and technology solutions during times of crisis.

Team Rubicon partnered with marketing agency Known to develop six videos, each representing a different disaster, such as wildfire, pandemic, and hurricane. The footage used in the spots is actual footage from the field from various disasters in 2019 and 2020 where Team Rubicon has served as the emergency response team.

The spots end with the call-to action-to "sign up/volunteer" and to "donate."

Known has “captured the emotional journey of both the volunteer and survivor,” states Lorey Zlotnick, Chief Marketing Officer, Team Rubicon.. “Our dedicated veteran and civilian Greyshirts are building resiliency in local communities before the storms hit, and are there rebuilding lives after disasters strike.”

The media buy includes Fox News, A&E, and Travel Networks and ION Media. OOH placements will include the tagline "Built to Serve.”

The group also relies on social media support to help fuel both volunteers and financial donations. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson of Project Rock thanked the “Greyshirts,” nickname of Rubicon members, today with a message posted to his Instagram account.
