Buffalo Wild Wings Sells 'Rally Caps' For 2021

A Buffalo Wild Wings promotion sold limited-edition “rally caps” to fans to kick off the New Year. The idea is to spread the hope and optimism that rallying cries denote in the sports world more broadly.

“That’s a pretty good mindset to have for the country,” says a BWW spokesperson. “To view next year with the same optimism and hope as a sports fan. To build on the momentum of a new year to turn the tide…To rally together as a country and make 2021 the greatest comeback ever.”

The Martin Agency is responsible for helping the restaurant chain develop the concept and led all the execution, including building out the 2021RallyCap.com website. It also assisted with the design and production of the caps.

The caps sold out quickly (price: $20.21) in the days leading up to the New Year.

All proceeds are going to the Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation.

To help jumpstart buzz for the project, BWW sent hats to select influencers, including designer Jeff Staple, MLB outfielder, Trey Mancini, and WNBA star, Elena Delle Donne .
