Vizzy Hard Seltzer's Take On 2020

Vizzy Hard Seltzer is proclaiming 2020 was the worst year ever by reworking the classic 2000 song "Graduation (Friends Forever)." This is the first creative campaign for the beverage brand from creative agency Rethink.

The song’s singer, Vitamin C, updated her lyrics to transform a nostalgic throwback tune into an amusing tribute to a year most would like to forget. The revised lyrics now include adopted dogs, failed fitness goals, mask tan lines and murderous hornets.

The accompanying karaoke video is designed as an uplifting antidote that shows innovative ways people have made use of their time, such as working out with household objects, having mini concerts in front of the TV and playing charades on Zoom.

Vitamin C donated her appearance fee to the United States Bartenders’ Guild’s (USBG) National Charity Foundation and its Bartender Emergency Assistance Program. Vizzy is matching her donation and donated proceeds from the sound recording revenue as well.
