NBCU Promotes 3 Senior Ad Execs: Bhatia, Feldman, Winiarski

Citing the success of its One Platform, its media buying/management platform for all its properties, NBCUniversal is promoting three executives, per an announcement by Linda Yaccarino chairman, global advertising/partnerships for NBCUniversal.

Krishan Bhatia, formerly executive vice president, business operations and strategy, will be president/Chief Business Officer of NBCUniversal, and head up all strategy, product, technology, measurement and operations functions for One Platform.

Bhatia will continue to help build a new “enterprise-wide data platform” for the company. He also oversee budget for digital and advanced advertising sales and account services team.

Josh Feldman will become NBCU’s advertising sales unit’s first global CMO. He had been executive vice president-head of marketing/ advertising creative. Feldman was responsible for a series of PSAs last year related to COVID-19, as well a creating and upfront “30 Rock” TV special, and the company’s first ‘creativity summit.’

Tom Winiarski is being promoted to president of platform monetization, overseeing planning, monetization and coordinating the NBCU ad sales team, including One Platform efforts. Winiarski had been executive vice president of advertising sales planning and monetization at the company.

NBCU launched One Platform, its TV/digital ad buying and management platform, in January 2020 at the Consumer Electronics Show.
