Super Bowl watchers are an astute bunch, as evidenced by the comments that have been coming in on Jeep’s social media pages. Posters are flagging that the brand neglected to include a large portion of Michigan — the Upper Peninsula — in a map of the United States that appears at the end of its 2-minute long Super Bowl spot. The automaker is deflecting responsibility for the goof, saying it used an image on an actual stone marker which sits on one of the locations filmed in Kansas, which represents the “geographical center of the contiguous 48 states.”
