Two former top media agency execs -- Dentsu/Aegis’ Nigel Morris and GroupM’s Rob Norman -- have joined mobile gaming advertising startup Admix as a board member and a senior advisor, respectively.
Morris -- who already was an advisor and investor -- left Dentsu in April 2019, where his last role was chief strategy and innovation officer of Dentsu Aegis Network (now just Dentsu), following a long career at Aegis. Most recently, he has been serving as an advisor and investor in various media, advertising and data startups.
Norman, a former top executive at WPP’s GroupM who has been serving on the boards of various media industry startups, joins Admix as a senior advisor focusing on the Americas.
Founded in 2018, Admix describes itself as an “in-play” platform focusing on integrating “data-driven ads and product placement into immersive gameplay experiences.”
It has raised $12 million in venture funding to date, and currently has a staff of 40.
