Hollywood star Drew Barrymore is launching a quarterly fashion magazine with Bauer Media Group called Drew. The first issue hits in June.
“We are launching a MAGAZINE!!!” Barrymore wrote earlier this week on Instagram. “I’ve dreamed of this day since I was a little girl, lining my walls with tears from my favorite magazines to make wallpaper.”
Barrymore added: “From beauty and food to human interest and travel (and a crossword puzzle yay!!!), every glossy page will include the people, places and things I love most ... truly the best from me to you.”
The Guardian notes that Drew “will continue where Oprah Winfrey’s O magazine left off.”
Hedging its print bets with digital, Barrymore is also inviting fans to sign up for her email list.

A promotion page on Instagram state: “Welcome to our sunny little magazine.”
It highlights planned regular features, such as "Drew's News" (feel-good stories), "Dear Drew" (ask her anything) and "People WE Love" (“Inspiring friends & everyday people”) and "Fun & Games" (crosswords, puzzles and more”).
The news broke in WWD just as another fashion magazine was debuting this week, this one online-only: a high-tech digital quarterly from Bottega Veneta, featuring editorial photoshoots and videos.
“Brands have increasingly commissioned and produced fashion editorials themselves in recent years in order to have a steady stream of content to feed their audiences on social networks like Instagram and Tiktok,” writes BOF, commenting on Bottega Veneta.
