Orbitz is continuing its support of the LGBTQIA+ community with a new spot encouraging travelers to “see the world on your terms” that celebrates their relationships and lifestyles.
The “Travel As You Are” creative,
developed with Laundry Service, features a diverse cast of LGBTQIA+ couples, including influencers Cameron Lee Phan, Ahmad Kanu and Rahquise Bowen. They are shown blissfully and romantically enjoying
their vacations, including swimming in a pool and riding bikes. The spot — shot by LGBTQ+ photographer and director Cass Bird – uses indie
music’s serpentwithfeet, the first Black male LGBTQ+ artist to re-record the Lesley Gore classic “You Don’t Own Me,” as the campaign theme song.
The :90-second
film and creative debuts on Orbitz social channels and Orbitz.com/pride and then will run across all digital media, including online video, CTV, social media and streaming audio. Orbitz is also
working directly with LGBTQIA publishers including Q Digital, Edge media network, and Instinct, among others. The media plan will be bolstered with partnerships with Tastemade and Thrillist.
