Jack Morton Names First Global DE&I Executive

Jack Morton is moving Natalie Ackerman from Hong Kong to the U.S. to serve as the agency’s first diversity, equitable and inclusive (DEI) lead. As executive vice president of talent and inclusion, Ackerman will assume all responsibilities for talent across the agency working closely with the global HR team including all DEI initiatives.

She will continue to serve on the agency’s executive leadership team reporting directly to Chairman/CEO Josh McCall.

Ackerman previously served as executive vice president of Greater China, overseeing the agency’s China and Hong Kong operations. She first joined Jack Morton 18 years ago as a Producer in New York and worked in the agency’s San Francisco office.

Aside from her leadership skills, Ackerman’s passion for DEI has been a significant part of her journey at the agency, explains an agency representative. She founded the “I am Jack” global grassroots initiative that works as a voluntary team of spirited employees in each regional market to maintain and elevate the agency’s culture through unique and educational internal campaigns. She also created and leads the agency’s DEI Council across the US whose purpose is to provide the agency with strategic direction in all DEI related endeavors.
