Microsoft says it has resolved an Office 365 outage that prevented users from sending or receiving emails.
“After extended monitoring we confirmed that the queued emails have been processed as expected,” the company says in a tweet.
Earlier, Microsoft tweeted, “We’re investigating a potential issue in North America. Further information can be found under EX252124 in the admin center."
Next, it said, “We’ve identified that a load balancing configuration issue was causing impact. We’re currently recovering, underlying a database infrastructure to remediate impact.”
Bleeping Computer reported that
a “Microsoft 365 outage is preventing Exchange Online users from sending and receiving emails, with messages being stuck in transit and not reaching the recipients' inboxes.”
