Biden Ratings Lowest In Modern Presidential History


President Joe Biden's televised address to the joint session of Congress Wednesday night was viewed by 26.9 million people, making it the lowest-rated presidential address in modern history, according to data released today by Nielsen.

By contrast, Bill Clinton's February 17, 1993 address was the highest-rated, with 66.9 million viewers.

The only other address to approach that level was George W. Bush's January 28, 2003 address, which had 62.1 million viewers.

The next-lowest-rated address was President Barack Obama's January 12, 2016 speech, which had 31.3 million viewers.
