Adland is Headed Back To The Office

Now that much of the world is starting to open up again with (fingers crossed) the worst of the pandemic behind us, Adland is finalizing plans for getting back to the office.

Omnicom confirmed this week that most of its offices are open, and staffers are making a gradual return to company workspaces between now and the fall.

Other holding companies are readying their offices as well, albeit with no formal plans announced.

Independent agencies around the country are also prepping for back-to-office life.

One example: Milwaukee-based Hanson Dodge has just announced a hybrid WFH/Back To The Office plan starting June 7.

With some flexibility depending on client needs, Monday to Wednesday will be the agency's official office days and Thursday and Friday will be WFH days.

In the office, everyone will have a dedicated workspace and full vaccinations are mandatory. Masks aren’t required for the fully vaccinated, but are optional for those who choose to wear them.

The agency’s formal day starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m., Central Time.

The agency notes that for some, it may not be feasible to come to the office yet.T hose staffers can work with their department heads to set up a full-time remote work schedule.

And employees can work one week a year from anywhere they choose.
