VaynerX has launched a new consultancy that will advise clients on the ins and outs of non-fungible tokens and has signed Budweiser as its first client.
NFT’s are digital assets representing art, photographs, memorabilia and other physical objects. The agency cited research reporting that over $2 billion was spent on NFTs in Q1 2021.
VaynerX founder Gary Vaynerchuk has a separate NFT project called VeeFriends that has raised $50 million since its launch in May.
Prospective clients can work with VaynerNFT in a number of ways--on a consulting basis, an NFT launch strategy, or with a full NFT development partnership, the company said.
Budweiser is a long-time VaynerX client. No specifics yet on the NFT partnership but Richard Oppy, head of global brands at AB InBev stated the brewer is “always looking for new ways to innovate and provide the best experience for our consumers.”
The NFT space, Oppy added, will allow the firm to offer customers “with more valuable experiences and bring them even closer to their favorite athletes, musicians, and celebrities through collectible NFTs. We believe this work will also pave the way for more innovative programs across all of our global brands.”
