Havas Posts Nearly 18% Organic Revenue Growth In Q3

Havas reported revenue of €590 million (about $685 million) in the third quarter, up 22% from a year ago, when the pandemic was suppressing numbers for most of the industry. Organic growth for the period was 17.8%.  The company didn’t provide pre-pandemic comparisons.

The agency group, part of Vivendi, said all regions and all divisions turned in positive results including creative, media and healthcare unit Havas Health & You.

By region Europe and North America were the biggest contributors with growth of 18.4% and 15.5% respectively.

For the first nine months the group posted revenue of €1.64 billion (about $1.82 billion) with organic growth of nearly 12%.

The firm said it was approaching the end of 2021 “with confidence” but gave no specific full-year organic growth guidance. Recent account wins include media assignments from Unilever in France and Spain and a number of unspecified wins in the healthcare sector.
