Shoppers are shifting to Visa, Amazon and MasterCard gift cards as the go-to holiday gift amid supply chain woes, inflation and the lingering effects of COVID-19, according to InMarket. “The report found that shoppers are spending more on gift cards earlier than last year with average spending up year-over-year, per Chain Store Age. “The findings are based on first and third-party transactional data sources.”
