Havas Media Group Lands IAG's Iberia, Vueling, LEVEL, IAG Cargo


Havas Media Group has won the media services account for International Airlines Group's Iberia, Vueling, LEVEL and IAG Cargo brands, following a formal review.

The assignment, which represents global services, bills $70 million, according to Comvergence estimates.

 “The functions of our marketing departments have evolved," the company said in a statement announcing HMG's win and acknowledging the contributions of its previous agencies, Carat and WPP.

"The pandemic impact has further accelerated some changes that we’re seeing both in our operations and in our prospects," it continued, adding, "These changes mean that we have to amplify our requirements when selecting the media agency in order to address present and future needs. We believe that Havas Media Group is the best partner in the journey that we start right now."

The air travel and cargo shipping marketer singled out a "tailored solution" from HMG that includes data, insights and and "ROI measuring approach."
