The New York Times Co. named Alyson Racer vice president, sales for NYTimes.com. She will lead the Web site's sales and marketing efforts and report to Denise Warren, senior vice president and chief
advertising officer for The New York Times Media Group. Racer was previously group director of sales for NYTimes.com.
