Adware purveyor 180solutions has filed suit in state court in Washington against ZoneLabs, which sells spyware removal software. 180solutions charges that ZoneLabs' software "creates the misimpression
that 180's products are spyware" and mistakenly informs users that 180solutions "is trying to monitor your mouse movements and keyboard strokes." The lawsuit charges ZoneLabs with trade libel,
tortious interference with business expectations, unfair and deceptive trade practices and unjust enrichment, and seeks monetary damages and an injunction prohibiting ZoneLabs from characterizing
180solutions as spyware.
