New York-based independent creative agency Fig has promoted Samantha Deevy to the newly created role of partner of communications. Deevy joined FIG in early 2021 as executive director of communications strategy, also a new role at the time.
Over the last year she’s credited with modernizing Fig’s creative output with her expertise in media, as seen in campaigns for clients like Zillow, SeatGeek and Waze. Prior to joining Fig she held roles at agencies including Droga5, where she was group communications strategy director for five years, as well as strategy and media roles at PHD, Omnicom Media Group and Digitas.
The agency has also added new hires including Leila Seghrouchini Gage, executive director, production; Omid Amidi, executive creative director; Justin Walsh, executive design director; Karin Santiago, group strategy director; Julianna Katrancha, group strategy director; and Benton Roman, group executive producer.
The agency’s clients include Zillow, SeatGeek, Benjamin Moore and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
