RPA Labs Chosen To Automate Email Response To Tracking Requests

Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation has hired RPA Labs to automate its customer emails that request shipment tracking details.

RPA Labs’ email automation tool, RPA Engage, combines robotic process automation (RPA), artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing and a language library consisting of logistics terminology that can quickly answer inquiries, the firm says. 

RPA Engage analyzes the content of incoming emails, triggers the appropriate workflow and migrates data to send a response, without human intervention, it adds.  

In addition, RPA Labs claims that the solution can be easily integrated with email and any TMS/ERP system.

Odyssey apparently found RPA Labs after a concerted search. 

Robert Boyle, vice president of Odyssey’s North America's business unit, said the company had previously intended to integrate RPA into its strategies for customer experience, but did not find a good fit, "mostly due to the other software solutions not being centered around the logistics operating environment."

RPA Labs brought logistics expertise, as its “entire operations team came from logistics backgrounds, have lived through the pain points, and built solutions specifically to solve them,” says Glenn Liao, vice president of sales for RPA Labs.

Odyssey hopes to apply the RPA Labs technology to automate other customer inquiries, including quote requests, AP inquires, shipment planning status, and more.”
