Singer Meghan Trainor has revised “All About That Bass,” her breakout 2014 number-one hit, into “All About That Game” for a new campaign from Playtika’s Facebook game and mobile app Bingo Blitz.

A commercial, produced in-house by Playtika Marketing in :60, 30, :15 and :10 versions, is running in a four-week campaign on CBS, NBC, Fox, national cable networks and OTT and CTV.

The spots start with Trainor relaxing in a chair singing and playing Bingo Blitz. She then turns into a cartoon avatar, traveling with the game’s mascot Blitzy to several in-game cities.

As part of the campaign, Trainor is also guest-starring in the game itself, interacting with players trying to achieve “Bingo!”

“All About That Game” comes a year after Playtika promoted Bingo Blitz with another commercial, that one featuring Luis Fonsi and Nicole Scherzingersinging “She’s Bingo!,” a revised version of a 1979 hit, “D.I.S.C.O.” by French pop duo Ottawan.

For her part, Trainor says in a :60 “behind-the-scenes” video that she and her husband (actor Daryl Sabara) are “obsessed” with Bingo Blitz and that winning is “the greatest feeling in the world.”

With everything going on in the world, I don't get to travel as much, which is another reason why I love this game," she continued. "I am traveling the world from the comfort of my own home in my own bed."

Launched 10 years ago, Bingo Blitz now has more than 1 million people players daily, according to App Annie figures cited by Playtika.

In the latest Statista data, Playtika held a  22% global market share of social casino publishers in 2020, followed by Aristocrat at 13%, SciGames and DoubleU Games, both at 10%, and Zynga at 8%.

Playtika’s other games include World Series of Poker, Slotomania, House of Fun, Caesar’s Slots and Poker Heat.
